New York Department of Labor Releases Whistleblower Notice of Employee Rights Poster

Whistle

As we previously posted, New York significantly expanded its employee whistleblower protection law, effective January 26, 2022. As a requirement of the amended law, employers must post a Notice of Employee Rights. The New York Department of Labor has issued the required Notice, which can be found here.

The Notice must be posted “conspicuously in easily accessible and well-lighted places customarily frequented by employees and applicants for employment.” New York businesses that have not already done so, should immediately post the Notice as required by the law.

If you have questions about New York’s amended whistleblower law or your business’s employment practices, please contact us at (201) 345-5412 / (646) 503-5358 or through our online scheduling system to schedule a complimentary consultation.
